Bringing the Heat: RIX at the 2025 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits

Last week, the RIX Optics team had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2025 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the course of three eventful days, we connected with customers, partnered with fellow industry leaders, and proudly showcased our latest thermal and night vision technologies. From set-up to tear-down, the experience was packed with energy, enthusiasm, and meaningful conversations.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our journey through one of the most exciting events of the year:

Day 1 – Wheels Down in Atlanta
Our week began with a smooth flight into Atlanta. After grabbing our rental vehicle and navigating the city, we regrouped for a well-deserved team dinner. It was a great moment to align our goals, shake off travel fatigue, and get excited about what was to come. With final plans in place, we were ready to hit the ground running.

Day 2 – Setup Day at the GWCC
Thursday marked the official start of show prep. We drove into the rear bays of the Georgia World Congress Center and got to work unloading and assembling the booth. After a few hours of logistics, design work, and some collaborative effort, our space was ready. We took time to connect with other exhibitors and catch up with industry friends before closing out the day with some fantastic local food. Atlanta did not disappoint!

Day 3 – The Show Begins (Friday)
Friday was opening day—and what a kickoff it was. Doors opened at 9 AM, and the venue was packed with excited attendees. The buzz in the air was unmistakable. Our booth quickly became a hotspot for visitors eager to check out our thermal optics and night vision gear. With a full sales team and a media crew on-site, we were able to give each visitor a complete experience, walking them through the tech and answering every question. We were honored to be positioned near standout companies like Microtech, Rost Martin, and Phoenix Trinity Firearms.

Day 4 – Saturday Surge
Saturday brought the highest foot traffic of the entire show. Our DBH product line drew significant attention, and we had deep conversations with both consumers and industry professionals alike. It was clear that interest in thermal technology is stronger than ever. Between non-stop booth activity, we managed to explore the show floor ourselves, discovering other innovative thermal products and networking with fellow exhibitors. We capped off the day with a celebratory dinner, reflecting on a job well done and preparing for the final stretch.

Day 5 – Sunday’s Business Focus
The last official day of the show, Sunday, had a different pace—less crowded, but more business-oriented. This was the time for fellow vendors and business owners to visit each other’s booths and build potential partnerships. We had some great B2B conversations that could lead to exciting collaborations down the line. After the final bell rang, we handled cleanup (never fun but always necessary), packed up the booth, and headed out for one final dinner together in Atlanta.

Day 6 – Back to Business
By Monday, our team was heading back home, tired but inspired. Events like the NRA Show are a reminder of why we do what we do. Sharing our thermal innovations with the broader community, meeting passionate enthusiasts, and representing the RIX brand at a national level is always worth the effort.

Looking Ahead
This year’s NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits was a major success for us at RIX. From product showcases to new relationships, we walked away with momentum and motivation to keep innovating in the world of thermal imaging. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, and supported what we do.

We’ll see you at the next show—until then, stay sharp and stay warm with RIX.
